Important notice! EMG 5.0 includes functionality that depends on embedded perl. On Linux and potentially on other platforms, libperl.so needs to be in the search path for shared libraries. Find the directory where libperl.so is located on the server and either add this directory to the environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH before starting EMG or (as root) add the directory to /etc/ld.so.conf and then run ldconfig.
